Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were spotless and well-equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits, but the paper-thin walls made it noisy due to hearing my neighbor snore all night, and the heating couldn't be adjusted easily. The service was incredibly helpful and accommodating, although they seemed short-staffed at times. The location was perfect with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff, offering lovely views of the lough. The dining experience was generally good, with a decent enough choice, but it was advised to arrive early to avoid crowds. The facilities were adequate for a comfortable stay.
The hotel had well-decorated rooms with 2 double beds and a leather sofa. The room was too warm with no option to turn off the heat, making it difficult to sleep due to noise from the nearby boiler room. On the bright side, the room was spotlessly clean, and the shower was easy to use with hot water available by pressing the red button before adjusting the dial clockwise. Despite requesting the heat to be lowered, it was never adjusted, leading to a discomforting warm atmosphere.
The hotel had clean and well-equipped rooms, but with some maintenance issues. The service was friendly but sometimes lacked enough staff. The location offered great accommodation and food, though there were some cleanliness concerns. The dining experience varied from good to poor. Overall, a mixed experience with room for improvement.
